I'm a photographer and Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Waikato, Aotearoa New Zealand. Through photography, I try to translate academic work, which can often be rather technical and dry, into a more engaging visual language.

I'm particularly interested in documenting the oddities and contradictions of globalisation, and how these manifest themselves in consumer behaviour, capitalist greed, and the ways in which we communicate about places in an increasingly interconnected and interdependent world.
